I wrote this song in 3 hours one session. It's about how I live about 40 miles away from my real home now. Moving sucks.

Story behind the song
It's about driving home one night but wanting to stay. It was the longest drive home i've ever had.
Lyrics
Tell me goodnight one more time The last words I should hear And I could relive these events until the day I die And I wouldn't mind So she said, "call me when you get there, to let me know your home". And I knew, that she cared As I drove away and stared At the little yellow lines that passed me by And as the miles, separate I live so far away But I know i'll make it home I'm already home. The music blasts in my car But I can't hear it at all I can't forget today Even if I wanted So I look to the sky I know so well But theres one star I don't see. Through the clouds, shining bright I'll gaze at you tonight And my worry disappears I'll make a wish on the past You don't even have to ask I know i'll make it home I'm already home It's reassuring To have someone there Call me tonight And you still care And I knew, that she cared As I drove away and stared At the little yellow lines that passed me by And as the miles, separate I live so far away But I know i'll make it home I'm already home
