I play solo and with WOODY, my trio. When I play solo, I do mostly original songs with some selected covers by songwriters I hold in high regard. WOODY plays originals by the three of us also, with some covers to satisfy those in the audience who are hooked on the same 'ol stuff' they hear on the radio - except that it's not the same old stuff. We do it for the excitement and to get people dancing. It seems to work :-)

I started playing music when I was but a kid they made me practice every day to ride my bike they did forbid but they forgot to tell me I'd have to get a trade forget all the songs that I wrote if I wanted to get paid I know I've got to do it gotta pay my dues need to show up every day or sing the money blues I've gotta make the effort be productive and efficient otherwise I might go hungry 'cause my income's insufficient (chorus) But, oh, I've been doin' this so long it seems absurd and I think it's a little much considering work is just a 4-letter word So now, I'm writing music I'm playin' it for you I don't giove a hoot about the money bid that job I had adieu if hunger comes a growlin' and I get a little thin I'll reach back in my childhood for some of that discipline (chorus) But, oh, I've been doin' this so long it seems absurd and I think it's a little ridiculous considering work is just a 4-letter word yeah, work is just a 4-letter word aw, work is just a 4-letter word
