My band is me (Adam) and my guitar... I write songs and some of them are older (and not very good) but I'm more happy with my newer stuff...

Story behind the song
this song is about how much time sucks and how much better off we’d be without it… it’s about the idea that time controls and restricts us into doing certain things at certain times… not that the things we do are necessarily bad but that we are expected to do them by certain standards that outside of a system of “time” wouldn’t necessarily be done then… basically just me dreaming about a world without limits where we can live in a way to make ourselves happy… a world where we can be free
Lyrics
I’ve got to be at work in three hours, Got laundry to do, things to clean, I’ve got an entire zine to write, And a distro to do I think I start school on Monday, but I’m not sure, It’s Saturday, and these clock hands are moving to fast.Let’s smash all the clocks; we don’t need time anyway, Let’s dance all day, and sing anytime, and never to go to work, Let’s smash all the clocks; it’ll be much better that way, We’ll forget the date, forget the time, and be more free. I’ve got all this stuff to do, But I’m writing a song instead My boss is going to call me soon, Ask me where I am I’ll answer the phone, and he’ll ask me why I’m late. I’ll say it’s because time doesn’t matter anyway…Chorus I think I start school on Monday, but I’m not sure, Cause I took my calendar, wadded it up and threw it in the trash Chorus
