From fireworks and electric chairs to rope swings and Jell-O wrestling, when the Itch performed it was an “event”.  They were over the top and in your face.  The Itch’s musical life was like a flare.  A combination of The chile peppers meets motley crue with some rage against the machine thrown in.They erupted out of nowhere, enjoying explosive popularity immediately.  Within weeks of its inception in late 1989 The Itch was featured on a compilation with Stryder records.  The debut single “Big Picture” was an instant hit and was featured on the regular rotation of all available South Florida radio stations. The band burned brightly with their outrageous stage act and steady stream of hit singles for the next five years.  The Itch’s flame extinguished abruptly due in part to lineup changes as a result of their lead guitarist’s auditions with the Chili Peppers.  They played their last show New Year’s Eve 1995.Evil Twin Music is proud to release an Itch collection which includes the previously released cassette PILLOW as well as the never before released BULLDOZER.

Lyrics
Broken words strewn across a page Do they mean anything, can you feel my rage I’m sending messages from beyond the grave I’m too far-gone; I’m too late to be saved Tired eyes with empty stares Futile faces drawn beyond repair How to handle it never was so clear So I decided that it’s better not too care I turn away from everything from anything that’s sane’ My delusions numb me to the pain You can’t kill one who’s already gone I was dead long before I ever hit the ground I am hard, I am cold I am oblivious to anything I’m told Show no emotion, I show no fear I have decided that it’s better not to care
