This is my submission for a Jam session at www.adadepot.com.

I have been playing guitar since I was 19 (I got a late start). I've been lucky enough to have been in a couple of really good bands. One of the highlights (so far) was opening for Live and Lynyrd Skynryd at The Pensacola Springfest in June 2004.

Story behind the song
From time to time, the board members at ADA Depot (www.adadepot.com) will collaberate on what we call a "Jam". This was my submission for Jam #9 (Affectionately dubbed "Crazy Jam"). This one was a little different from previous ones because the backing track wasn't already provided; Players were divided into "teams" (A rhythm person and a lead person). The site admin had created a drum track that each team was to use. The rhythm player would come up with something to go on top of the drum track and then that would be sent to the lead player who would do his/her thing. Once everyone was satisfied with the playing/mix/etc, the team sent their finished parts to another member who would then compile everything together into one long song. Surprisingly, this turned out really cool. Especially considering that it was truly a worldwide effort; people from the U.S., Canada, and Europe all took part in it. That's cool, imo. Jur Teeuwen programmed the drums; I played all of the rhythm guitars and did the funky editing in the middle; Jur did the lead stuff and also played the bass. This is not the complete track; this is only the part that I was involved in. To hear the complete song, as well as all of the other Jam Tracks, click Here.
