Siaira/Sia is a 20-year-old singer/songwriter/organizer born and raised in San Francisco, California. She started singing at the ripe old age of three and has continued ever since. Her defining music moment came in elementary school when she played Alice in Alice in Wonderland and her solo received a standing ovation. From then on she knew she wanted to make performing her life. She attended San Francisco School of the Arts with a concentration in theatre. Currently, she is a Speech Communication student at San Francisco State University and an organizer at a youth empowerment organization called Youth Making A Change. She has many influences from soul legends to revolutionary thinkers to hip hop emcees like Jean Grae. She’s new to recording, but she’s hitting the ground running. “Music is my sustenance and I want to share that love and need for quality and socially relevant artistry with the people.”
