Story behind the song
I was supposed to DJ this party for my floor (in my dorm) and this dude that agreed to volunteer his speakers for the party told me an hour the party started before that his roommate didn't want me in his room. And his roommate was nowhere around. I happened to have other plans that I cancelled to do this, also related to music and DJ'ing---I'm a DJ at my school's radio station, KSLU, and had to talk to my director and ask if I could miss this mandatory event to DJ a party for my floor whose proceeds would to to Hurricane Katrina victims, and he was cool w/ it. I didn't think it to cool to tell me an hour before that I wasn't doing it, but it's cool...now that I wrote this song ;-)
