Broca's Area, Michael Delaney and John Sosnowski, was all about improvisation. Lots of drones and no real melodies to follow. We just liked making noises. These songs are dubbed from very old tapes so don't expect any miracles as far as the sound quality! All artwork for Broca's Area was done by the incredible Joel Menter. Story behind the song
I wasn't going to go back this far but, I think it's amusing to listen to these tracks and then listen to something like "Soundcheck", the difference is almost ridiculous! Anyway, I used to think I was a good guitar player. This is from the late 80's (anyone that ever listened to RUSH will notice some influence) and the sound quality sucks big time. The drum machine I used had about 6 sounds in it and was as big as a coffee table! Also, I had to edit out some parts where I used un-cleared movie samples. I tried to make it as smooth as possible but, it's still pretty noticeable, sorry.
