In a scene overflowing with assimilated hardcore sounds,BIG NAME BUTTON is pumping out emotional, heart-filled, screamo and keeping it rousing with a sound that teeters between melody and mayhem. Forming in 2003, they began playing in a garage deep in the tenebrous mountains of Virgie, Ky, and soon after began playing shows at small local venues. Their first attempt at recording (The "My Perspective" EP) went way better than expected of the then four piece. But it was lacking something. Uncertain as to what, the band continued to play, and mature. With such emotion utilized into each new song, it soon became apparent as to what was missing. The proper vocalist. The 'front-man' search was assumed to be strenuous, but was actually uncomplicated. They invited a good friend of the group (Jimi Reynolds, formerly of 'boodahdamn') over for a quick practice session one day. As soon as he got behind the mic, the band members knew they had found their missing link, and Jimi became the fifth member of BIG NAME BUTTON.
