House of Beatz is a team of hit makers who are about to put Ft. Pierce, FL back on the map.
House of Beatz never had a problem with getting their hands dirty for the cause. They pushed underground singles, fliers hand-to-hand, and stayed in the studio cookin up heat until they had all of Fort Pierce hooked, and had truly earned the right to count themselves among the Fort's top heavy hitters. Delivering their own blood rushing version of crunk music through hits like their breakout single "Dem FLA Boyz," H.O.B. has emerged from the trials and troubles that they've encountered - from the September 11th tragedy to the everyday violence in Ft. Pierce. "We're letting Osoma, Sadam, Iraq, and everyTAG NOT ALLOWED else who got a problem know that we're still here. We're still focused. We're about to crack the foundation of the house. We've broke the windows and tore down the walls already. Our style is so versitile. We have songs for every mood. Crunk. Loafin. Chillin with your significant (or insignificant for some) other, Gettin slizzard...we got it all.," says 20-year-old "Cavaceeyai", the leading lady of the group. "We touch on everyday life. Stuff that most other artists are afraid to tackle because of the controversy that may come with it. Every song we write, we're talking about a specific thing. We never write just to try to look good on wax. Every word comes from either past experience or something that is bound to happen in the future." " Yeah," echoes 28-year-old "Fab38Hot" who describes his role as the laid-back gangsta of the group. "And we rep our city, our state, our music, and our company to the fullest. If you don't know, if you want to know...you WILL know by the time you're done listening to the Still Focused compilation. That's who we are!" They don't hesitate admitting this is the case with "FLA Boyz," a track on the album in which Fab states "You don't wanna/mess wit dem boyz outta Flawda/Down South Dirty Niggas/I thought I told ya". Of course, H.O.B. is not all crunk jams and hood life. On their rendition of "Lovers & Friends," a favorite of Cavaceeyai's, the groups lead female singer Tarleshia and the man behind it all, Lil Me, express their dissatisfaction with their relationships and let their spouses know what the deal is going to be. "The ladies love this track. It's real. It's coming from a female's point-of-view this time with a splash of male (laughs) so yeah, the ladies who haven't heard it will definitely love it. When I first heard it, I was in awe. I've been told that it's better than Usher's version. You all can be the judge of that though. Cop the album!" says Cavaceeyai.

Story behind the song
This song is based on a man telling a woman that he knows what she wants. He knows that she's feeling him and that she wants to go to the crib with him and do the damn thang. This is one of our favorites off the compilation!
