Wondering who M.E.A.L. Tix is and what this unique name means? M.E.A.L. stands for Music Entertainment And Life, and Tix represents the ticket to their success. The crew consists of a trio of talented M.C’s Jahsh “Fiyah” (age 25), Obese “Flow” (age 27), and Natch 1’er (age 27). Lacing the beats behind M.E.A.L. Tix’s lyrics are the fresh and original sounds of DJ Merc, founder of Boiler Room Productions in Providence, RI and DJ Condadon founder of Mandatory Entertainment in Miami, FL. Initially Fiyah, Flow, and Natch 1’er composed tracks in the Boiler Room Studio individually, just to express their artistic creativity, talent, and sometimes just to kill time. But when word spread, the public became louder and more demanding; there was only one thing to doform a group. The title MEAL TIX was created and, like a chant, the phrase M.E.A.L. resounded. Music Entertainment And Life was born. MEAL TIX is synonymous to great Hip-Hop music, cleverly orchestrated with innovative beats, prolific lyrics, and catchy hooks. The group’s first recorded single, titled Bodmon, has been making rounds in clubs from Providence, Boston to Miami and NY. The tandem’s debut album entitled “Get A Plate” is due for release in the Spring of 2005. Thanks in part to the joint efforts of Boiler Room Productions and Mandatory Entertainment, setting forth this project has proven to be a small stepping stone to the formation of a group of giants. Check out this site, www.mealtix.com and WWW.MYSPACE.COM/MEALTICKET to learn more about this talented trio, destined to leave their mark on the industry with a unique style that has generated fans not only in New England, but also in Miami and NY.
