I mellow, rocking song about losing a girl and the feeling was mutual and it worked out in the end...

Hello my name is Shaun Eagle and no I'm not related to any Native American. I am thinking my family changed their name when they got over here, yet I'm not sure. The only good thing about a weird name is that people will remember it. I have been writing music since I was 7 years old. Writing as in making up music. I didn't have any guidance or anyone to teach me how write down the music in my head to paper so I just came up with the stuff on my grandmother's piano and in my head on long bus rides from school. I was never tought anything, I just learned everything on my own.

Story behind the song
I wrote the guitar and melody on the guitar and that was the easy part. I came up with the chorus first and it came to me checking my email. It was unusual but the melody and everything else just popped in my head. So, I got my acoustic and worked the music in my mind straight to paper. For some weird reason, I can write music all day but I have some trouble writing lyrics to them... I also had a hellava time thinking of a title to this song.
Lyrics
So many things to do I'm sorry I thought you were important enough to worry Eighteen hours on a bus was enough to know That now was the time and place to finally let go So you're gone this time without me And I won't be back to see you leaving So you're not my only disease And I've got no time to believe in you, believe in you You left your favorite t-shirt I bought when I met you When you come back in, don't talk to me Or I will die So you're gone this time without me And I won't be back to see you leaving So you're not my only disease And I've got no time to believe in you, believe in you It's ok that it worked out this way If you had stayed Would have been many years of waste Many years of hate Many years of space Many years of grey Many tears wiped away So you're gone this time without me And I won't be back to see you leaving So you're not my only disease And I've got no time to believe in you, believe in you So you're gone this time without me And I won't be back to see you leaving So you're not my only disease And I've got no time to believe in you, believe in you Believe in you
