Song wrote by Jason Gruen, a great acoustic number with good lyrics and energy. I wrote the drums and Jason Hoey wrote the lead guitar. Diane sang with Jason Gruen on back-up vocals.

experimental, indie sounding. Most songs by one man, me. Also tracks with other musicians who fit my style, all of whom are friends.
The band is myself. I usually try to write songs with two guitars, then I add in the drums or whatever else. I sometimes have people sit in on my recordings to do vocal tracks, piano, bass or another guitar. The band is not just me though, to me it is everything that Ive done with others, and everything others have done with me. All of my songs are basically straight forward, they just have many parts and changes in them. I enjoy picking a lot, especially over a rythym guitar. My writting process actually ties in with the recording process. I usually write one guitr first and record it. Then after I think Im done I come up with another guitar and thats how most of my songs are written. I cant record at home so I use friends home studios, this is why I have to come up with 2nd guitar on the fly.

Story behind the song
Jason G. had written the song and I invited him up to my friends home studio to record it. After he layed down the guitar it was suggested that Diane sing back-up. We left the room so those two could do the vocals, and when we returned she ended up doing the whole song and he just did the back-ups, it turned out great. Then Jason H. recorded the lead parts. I then recorded my drums. The song turned out pretty good sound wise, but I was a little dissapointed now that i listen again because the song sort of lags between the drums and guitar, this is because there was no click tracked used. But I still love the song.
