IBUs uniquely rich harmonies and outstanding dance skills quickly earned them the distinction as America's most sought after Asian-American performing group. Now on its 7th year, IBU continues to make headlines, thrusting itself more and more to the forefront of the mainstream music scene. WGN/WB Channel 9 Chicago called them Chicagos hottest boy group, and 102.3FM introduced them as Asians with Soul. In November 2004, IBU competed with 300 artists from around the world at the New York International Music Festival in Manhattan and was voted as the best R&B Group, becoming the first ever and the only Asian-American group to ever win at the festival. In 2005, the festival named them R&B Group of the year. The year before, IBU won the state-sponsored, the Chicago Music Opportunity Project, with Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child as one of the judges. IBU has released its first solo album entitled Redefined, in August 2005, their fourth recording project. Chicago Tribune ran a story about the groups struggle to overcome stereotyping of the Asian-American Artists by the Mainstream Music Industry and media in November 2004. IBU took a hiatus from performing in early March 2008 to work on their sophomore album. The album is titled "Inspired By U." On this album, IBU wants to showcase their true R&B character as an artist, in the true tradition of their soulful and harmony drenched compositions. The songs will present a more mature IBU, vocally and artistically.

Lyrics
Shake That By Jonathan Shauf, Tommy Chanthasene Verse 1 I like a girl with body n' brain, Driving up and swerving lanes, Drinks Crystal and Chardonnay, She be wearing' Victoria secret lingerie, I like a girl who can smoke it up, It can be late at night she gon' call you up, I like all women from coast to coast, but this is what I like the most. Chorus I like a girl that's 5'5, brown eyes, thick thighs, much to my surprise, Shake that baby, shake that baby, I like em all up in the club tearin' it up, showin me love, shakin it up, Shake that baby, shake that baby Verse 2 Ooh you’re soakin wet, you’re freakin it, Girl tell me what’s coming next, I know you can tell what I've been feeling, Wanna give yah that sexual healing, They way you’re t'workin that body making me crazy, Girl I want you to come start making babies, Don’t you know that your making it hard for me, All the fellas if you feel me come sing it with me, Pre chorus I like em innocent, I like em devious, I like a girl with brains, sexy, but scandalous, I like the way she talks, down to the way she walks, I like em from coast to coast, but this is what I like the most. Chorus I like a girl that's 5'5, brown eyes, thick thighs, much to my surprise, Shake that baby, shake that baby, I like em all up in the club tearin' it up, showin me love, shakin it up, Shake that baby, shake that baby Bridge (Rap) You got me tongue twisted; goose bumps all in my spine, A girl like you is so hard to find, The way you shake that body makes me wanna go crazy, No doubt, you amaze me, I'm so inspired by the way that you style your hair, Don’t mean to stare at the way you shake your body from here to there, You got me going on a frenzy, Just sit back, relax, I'm about to get nasty, So tell me something that I don't know, Tell me you listen to this song, and you bump it on your stereo, You got the total package, brains n' all, 5'5 brown eyes, thick thighs, what. I like the way she talks, down to the way she walks, I like em from cast to coast, but this is what I like the most. (Chorus out) x 2
