Story behind the song
Missing my ex-fiance. I was playing some Jobim tunes and thought i would mess with the timing a bit. Came up with these chords which i found in " Goodbye Pork Pie Hat" by Mingus. Then wrote the lyrics, which is a backwards way of doing things for me, since i usually write the lyrics first then build a song around them. I used imagery from " 1983, A Merman I should Turn To Be" by Jimi Hendrix, for the lyrics.
