acoustic guitar music ban
Newfoundland - Better known for fishing, Great Big Sea and freezing cold climates. Has spawned the acoustic emo group September Fourth. Reeling from the nasty little trials of everyday life and failed relationships common to everyone everywhere. During the cold month of early November September Fourth was started. Brad was eager to do vocals for anything or anyone but the problem was that he didn't have any music. So during the timeline Brad met Kate through mutual friends. Kate was an experienced young guitar player who had already done a few solo performances at local festivals and shows. She wanted to help Brad in recording and joining him during performances. Brad began jamming with Kate and pretty soon began work on lyrics that Brad had written. September Fourth can be labelled acoustic punk, rock, emo or anything you wanna call it. Based around the writings of Brad, each song has it's own meaning. Most of the songs have been taken from Brad's own life experiences with relationships, death and teenage life. Brad describes his lyrics as, "for everyone to relate too, that's what can be taken from every song". After many jam sessions Brad and Kate began recording. They recorded a 3 song demo under the title September Fourth. The name comes from Brad's birthdate which is September 4th, 1984. The demo is currently for download on the websites sounds section. And all of the songs have been circulating around the net trying to get any recognition as possible towards September Fourth. Right now, Brad and Kate are enjoying writing and recording new music for everyone to hear from the corner of their ear. So expect an EP to come out soon. September Fourth - For everyone who has been in (and out) of love

Lyrics
Last year I never though this would ever happen. But the streets have gotten slippery and the nights have gotten longer. Seeing myself in this position from a different angle seems like a nightmare that I have to deal with cause I'm still alive. I'm holding back my worst parts and saving them until you bleed. Oh no, I think I said too much. So kick me in the face and let's call it even. Right now you want to, right now you want me. More than ever. This last year has been so critical, everythings been a mismatch and mouths full of empty regrets. I love the way you stare at me like that the way you act after a long nights fight. Don't bother girl, 'cause this time is totally different. Oh no, I think I said too much. So kick me in the face and let's call it even. Right now you want to, right now you want me. More than ever. And I know right now I deserve it, now I deserve this More than ever. Remember me ten years down that road when you have your life set. Think that I still have your picture on my wall. Maybe I was wrong or maybe you were right but it's too damn late. Oh no, I think I said too much. So kick me in the face and let's call it even. Right now you want to, right now you want me. More than ever. And I know right now I deserve this now I deserve it More than ever.
