The Limey Lads - or the Limeys as they are affectionately know to their inner circle are a dynamic Hip Hop duo bringing the sounds and styles of urban rural UK rap. Their music is experimental, their lyrics thought provoking. They bring their experiences to their art unashamedly, hearts boldly bleeding on their sleeves. Soulful Gospel based lyrics are another defining characteristic, as well as seemingly playful and comedic addresses to society and its members. We love rappin', but we also love rockin' out on instruments. We are jazz musicians at heart, really. We are currently working on our current project "Limey Light" which will feature some hiphop stuff as well as some instrumental groove sessions.
