I was trying to learn a Michael Card song when my wife and I got into a fight. I was frustrated because I wasn't learning the song as fast as I would have liked. She already knew the song... blah blah blah. I'm a guy, so 99.99% of the time I'm acting stupid. The short of it is that I wrote this after the fight. I had really been acting like a jerk and I knew it. I was convicted to write a song about what I am and what I should be.
