Story behind the song
Sin is a leash that brings us down. If we obey God's will, we won't be defeated by it. The song starts out slower, and rocks at the end. Alicia and the band worked together on the words. Bob brought the guitar part that he wrote long ago, but was rejected by his old band, and introduced the musical term "pah-dow" to the rest of us. Bob plays an acoustic guitar solo, and Jim and the rhythm guitars rock on the chorus. Devon adds a bass guitar that drives the music over the top.
