alionsonny is a one man music project from Hamburg / Germany. All started in 2004, when I discovered the new possibilities of digital music production. I have been a musician since the age of 14 with a rather long break from 1990 to 2003. 2004 I decided to make music again and released my first songs at versionist.com. Many positive reviews and mails encouraged me to step further and the project alionsonny was born. In November 2004 I released my first album "Xperimental Reggae WorX". A second album is in production.

Story behind the song

Ok, if you ask yourself what the weird title of this song might mean... forget it. It's just a 

homage to some weird song in german my neighbor and me were listening to. It's called 

"Ochsenmaulsalat", what is translated something like "Oxmouth Salad". Yeah, to make it even more 

confusing, I was joking about the fact, that an instrument known as "Jaws Harp" is known in german 

as "Maultrommel", which means something like "mouthdrum". Ok, out of that two facts and a bunch of 

weed the idea came up to build a drum out of an ox mouth. Strange eh ?
