(Vs1:)
Down at the Bass Pro by the fishin’ poles
Somethin’ caught my eye,
A pair of Daisy Dukes in a halter-top
Enough to make a grown man cry,
With her hair pulled back ‘neath a Bill Dance cap
True to Southern Red-Neck style,
With just one look she set the hook,
With a come and get me baby smile:
(Chorus:)
Now she’s my Carolina Riggin’,
Jerk-Bait twitchin’, bass fishin’ Queen of the South,
At a fishin’ hole the girls right at home, she knows what life’s about,
In her Ranger rig that any man would dig, buddy there ain’t no doubt,
She’s a Carolina riggin’ – Jerkbait twitchin’ – Brushpile Flippin’
Woman on a mission, Bass fishin’ Queen of the South:
(Vs2:)
Now we spend our days out on the lake,
Fishin’from dawn to dusk,
Throwin’ Crankbaits – Spinnerbaits – Drop Shottin’ Softbaits,
We never can get enough,
When we get home and we’re all alone,
Each night when the sun goes down,
I couldn’t ask for more and I thank the Lord
For this perfect match I found:
(Chorus)
(Bridge:)
On the tournament trail, she’s doin’ well, with a limit every day,
Bass Pro’s fear her, other folks cheer her, each stop along the way:
(Chorus)
