Seven Woes Verse 1: You love to be called "teacher" You take the honored places Yet you condemn my children And never see their faces. They bend beneath your load You burden them with grief You quote the law and prophets But your words bring no relief. You shut heaven's door With rules to handle sin You know you're not invited So no one else can enter in! Chorus: Hypocrites! Viper's brood! Pharisees, you blinded fools!
