This is the final instrumental version of a song by "The Only Survivors and Vernian Process". It is written as an homage to fallen Post-Punk icons such as Ian Curtis, Martin Hannet, Adrian Borland, Billie McKenzie, etc.

Industrial, Neo-Classical, Darkwave, Dark Ambient project with a very Victorian atmosphere.
Vernian Process is a Neo-Classical/Darkwave/Industrial project. The sound is very Film Score / Dark Ambient.. but with some more dance friendly songs thrown in the mix. Everything is drenched in strings, and symphonic/orchestral effects. Some of the songs will incorporate a very "Industrial Revolution" sound as well.. with samples of steam engines, gigantic gears, pistons, etc.

Story behind the song
I was contacted by Colin Sharp (ex-Durutti Column) about working on a project of his featuring former members of classic Post-Punk bands. This is our first collaboartion. Other members include alumni of The Sound, Prefab Sprout, The Wake, and The Wild Swans. We will soon have vocals and instruments in addition to the music you hear here.
