We've still got 2000 miles left to go...
pop songwriter acoustic jason henry spnj acouctic rock
Acoustic rock, with a newer and different taste.
Well if I were to describe what I'm doing here... I would have to say that this is a hobby taken to a sometimes unhealthy extreme.. but I love it. I've been playing since highschool, but I've really been putting the effort into writing lately and can only hope that improvement comes with effort. Still with a relatively spread out but small fan base I still think I might have something alright here. So if you like what you hear, feel free to email me, there is link to it on the right. I'd love to hear from you. Also be sure to check out my site www.soundclick.com/acousticsbyj for some of my cover tunes

Lyrics
Drive words and music by Jason Henry my foot on the gas I feel faster than that lightning in my rear view your asleep in the back you have been since we left this afternoon I keep my eyes on the road and my hands on the wheel but the rain's coming down in sheets so I pull over to the side I pull over to the right I hop in the back careful not to wake you up Im thinking that I could easily spare an hour two in A 69 cadillac with some room in the back big enough for two Steady rolling thunder's a lullaby for me and you they think we are fools with nothiung better to do but we've got 2000 miles left to go and a full a tank full of fuel The east coast just a memory of yesterday midwest now tracking further each day to sunny place they're gonna forget our names drving with the top down radio playing an old sound we dont know the name of A 69 cadillac with some room in the back big enough for two An early 90's rock song is a lullaby for me and you they think we are fools with nothiung better to do but we've got 1000 miles left to go and a half a tank full of fuel And I will not stop till I get there And I dont want to fight for my air It took our last cent to get here And im gonna drive until the sun comes up again A 69 cadillac with some room in the back big enough for two Cars on a california freeway's a lullaby for me and you they think we are fools with nothiung better to do but we've got zero miles left to go zero miles left to go zero miles left togo and we're starting something new
