Welcome to my page here at Soundclick. I'm a guitarist and composer, jazz mostly but I do wander into some more eclectic things on occasion. Been retired from State of Illinois since 2014. Currently working with the group Ocean State, and booking my own trio/quartet things on occasion. Also working on a variety of recording projects from my 'home studio'. It's all good.

Story behind the song
The title is from an old B.Kliban cartoon wherein people are passing through a room, open on both sides, from infancy to old age, entering on the left and departing on the right. On the wall is a sign that says, 'no loitering'. This piece is sort of a perpetuum mobile, or perpetual motion thing, always moving- though it does have its moments of repose.
