I love the idea of creating music to be listened to around the world via the internet. My music is in a variety of styles including, Jazz, Electronica, Techno, Dance, Rock. Story behind the song
I was a fan of Star Trek Voyager in it's infancy. I have always been a fan of Kate Mulgrew who played Captain Janeway. I had seen her on numerous other tv shows and even her own short lived series loosely based on the "Columbo" charactor's wife - "Mrs. Columbo". My mother started my fascination with Sci-Fi watching "Night Gallery" and other series. "Star Trek" was just a natural step in that evolution. Ever since the introduction of the terrible species 8472. The possible existance of an alternate Universe comprised of Fluidic or Liquid Space has stuck with me. Still a vaccumous Space just a completely different enviroment. The inhabatants of Fluidic Space had bio-mechanical ships to transport them. It is sometimes these things that creep around in the back of my mind and take over when I'm feeling creative. This is one of those tunes where different people will hear different things. Don't listen to it too loud it's easier to pick out the suttlties at a lower level. Much like looking too closely at a painting it detracts from the overall picture. Listen with an open mind you will hear the ripples.
