Story behind the song
Was written as a kind of self-therapy. You see I used to dream about my first love (my partner for 6 years and mother of my two children) for months upon months after we split up. These dreams haunted me and so I wrote it into a song. The song starts off dreamy and ambient but then turns to dark rock as the dreams become nightmares - then back to the dream to let it go. And hey, it worked!! No more ex-dreams ; )
