Story behind the song

"Punk Smackin'" was originally recorded to a couple of Funkadelic loops, and it was catchy but we were never satisfied with the simplicity.  The WDMX Remix, featuring human beat box by David Moise, was what we ended up using on our "Trailmix" album.  Soon afterwards, inspired by successful remixes of "Shoefunk" and "Whiskey Sour", this version was made and was later included on our album "For Sale".
