i jumped off a cliff
into a bottomless pit
it was a weightless thought
i couldn't resist
an unknown distance
i knew it a risk
but i'd rather descend
than be lifted
see we could jump in pairs
like hers and his
and fall as graceful
as the morning mist
i don't want to take too much of your time
so i'll make this quick

So, i gave all my wealth
or what's left of it
to a fund that promised
to help troubled kids
learn to keep their innocense
or at least just a little bit
to where they use their mind and not their fists
i guess that explains the jist of it
i don't claim to be rich
but have enough to gift
these troubled and sick little kids
i have the recipe
and the ingredients
to disappoint parents
and alienate friends
as long as you have courage
till the bitter end
