A symphonic setting of a military-style processional interrupted toward the end by an urgent matter reflected by marked dissonance and atonal, meandering trumpet lines that eventually resolve to a proper cadence.

I was walking through the Disney Hotel courtyards in Anaheim after the first day of a training course in State bridge construction at a hotel nearby. One of the attendees at that particular course was exceptionally beautiful --so beautiful. The melody came suddenly; the idea for the use as a film score came much later.
This work was completed for and first performed at an Easter service with text that is not recorded. The ending was not used. The first instrumental version was done for a wedding processional --mine. The ending was modified. In retrospect, maybe it shouldn't have been.
