Born and raised as a Catholic, my walk with the Lord has taken me on a quite a journey the past 42 years of my life. Through it all, His loving arms have carried me. Sometimes with me kicking and screaming for Him to let go and more often than not, without my awareness or recognition that He was indeed carrying me. In the last 11 years, He has revealed Himself to me in stunning and humbling ways. And I'm grateful for the "ride". The journey continues.

Story behind the song
I wanted to write and record a very praise-ful song in a power pop format that hopefully would also show some of my Beatles' influences and lyrically be like any secular love song until you get to the chorus when you finally find out just WHO the love song is about. What came out is what I think is a nice little slice of pop song heaven. It's got nice jangly guitars, some fun lyrical wordplay and a nice beat you can dance to! I also think it's neat that one could hum along and tap their foot to this song and possibly be unaware that they were praising the Lord while doing so! Enjoy! Inspired in part by Jer. 17:14 and subtitled "Thomas' song" after the "doubting" apostle Thomas who after finally seeing the resurrected Lord exclaimed "My Lord and My God!" (Jn. 20:27-28). Our Lord, Jesus Christ, says "I AM..." and we say "YOU ARE!!!"
