Story behind the song
If you grow up urban, jail becomes a reality to you one way or another. This song ties in three important aspects of steet life: 1)The street, 2)the kids, 3)and God. This song is loosely based on my brother's experience. He was in jail while I was overseas and I didn't know it. When I found out he had already gotten out. One thing I realized is that even though life was hard for him, everyone had to keep living. I regret no knowing he was locked up. This song is a vicarious way for me to relive that period of time.
