Welcome to my page here at Soundclick. I'm a guitarist and composer, jazz mostly but I do wander into some more eclectic things on occasion. Been retired from State of Illinois since 2014. Currently working with the group Ocean State, and booking my own trio/quartet things on occasion. Also working on a variety of recording projects from my 'home studio'. It's all good.

Story behind the song
The tune was written way back in 1978. I was 24 years old, going to school at Peabody Conservatory of music in Baltimore Maryland. Composition major, mainly writing wacked-out atonal stuff- except for the more-than-occasional jazz tune such as this one. There's a pretty good alt take of this one from the session and also a quartet version(sans alto sax).
