GREAT SONGS ARE MY LIFE! All my life has been measured by great songs, those that I've written and those of so many fine writers whose songcraft has both thrilled and influenced me. I like writing & producing songs in a wide variety of genres, because a great song, well performed, is always exciting no matter what the musical style, and because it keeps me fresh and interested. So I write for a variety of R & B, Pop, Jazz and Modern Rock artists. I've had the pleasure of working with some of the finest artists and producers around, and in addition to writing for established artists, I also love tailoring songs for the new breed of up-and-coming talent, who bring a fresh approach and style into the always-hungry collective musical consciousness. Whenever I write or produce for a new young artist, we always learn and grow so much from each other, and often we create some real magic! Some of those fresh artists and magic are represented here in my musical sampling. Enjoy listening, and if you like what you hear, feel free to contact me.

Lyrics
Primal Need What is this force, makes a woman love a man Why am I drawn like a moth to a flame You are my being, you’re my shelter, you’re my ground I’m lost in what I’ve found CHORUS: I love you, I love you I love you, got to have you I love you, I love you I love you, baby you’re my primal need Before you were here, felt no lacking, I was fine Now if you left me, be so empty, I would die Somehow you completed what I didn’t know I need I don’t know what it means All that I know is I love you, I love you I love you, got to have you I love you, I love you I love you, baby you’re my primal need God, how I love you Like an aching in my core Take control of me Hold me tightly, don’t you ever let go They say that a woman can live fine on her own And though I know that it’s true There is no life without you Don’t understand, but take my hand And let the mystery unfold repeat CHORUS Copyright © 2003 by Rhythm Earthsong and Zuri Allen Star, BMI.
