silent now- hearing the phone not ringing
cold now- feeling the warmth not here
with no place to call home and no where to run
i turn to the empty depths of a heart
with few signs of life- like a fire burnt out

lonely like dead in this and every place
yet so crushed as the walls cave in
narrow escape, by the esclipe of this light
the tears will run til they hang

to fall lifeless down to be covered

as with all the other miseries buried
