I drive a Big Ass Buick and my baby loves to ride -- some slide guitar work and a lot of good feeling.

Brian Dr Mojo Robertsons slide guitar and smooth vocals in a solo blues setting with a dose of blues piano thrown in now and then for good measure
Late night, solo, delta style blues with a mix of John Lee Hooker, Lightnin' Hopkins, Robert Johnson and Son House. I do the vocals, of course, and usually I accompany myself on slide guitar, guitar or piano. There's some of my blue harp in there, too. The goal is to write and perform blues that could have been recorded 50 years ago or 50 years from now. I've played blues for 30 years and the name Dr. Mojo or "Moj" has stuck. I also wrote LITTLE BLUES BOOK with R. Crumb, sort of the blues guide to life. My new cd is Big Ass Buick and I edit BigRoadBlues.com with one of the great blues forum communities on the Net.

Story behind the song
My mother drove this big ass Buick -- a gold 85 Riviera with only 37,000 miles on it. When she died, it came to me. And it deserves a song. So here it is.
