Story behind the song
I came up with this simple bass riff, and I just started experimenting with it. Basically, the riff startes as the root of the chords, then the 3rd, and finally the 5th. Everything is tuned down a whole step. For the melodies and solo at the end I recorded them normally, then I reversed them with software, added some Chorus and Reverb, then reversed them back so they played normally but with the effects playing before the actual note - thus that haunting sound.
