The song is basically based around a riff Marc wrote a while ago... the bass and drums were added and we spent a while trying to write the rest of the song...We wanted it to be very progressive and change a lot, a lot of changing tempo and moods, in the end it didn't quite work as we had planned, the chorus-ish part came from an idea from Peter (James' dad and Delve Manager) he told the rest of the band that he felt that some singing in the chorus would go down well...so we gave it a go and it kinda stuck. The end is from an old song which originally was called Cataclysmic Kings Upon The Bloody Altar Of The Bitch Godess....so you get where the name came from, it was mix of two songs.
