Artist picture
Bass and guitar driven rock, reminiscent of 80's era bands. Vocally raw and sometimes gritty, with a splash of strings, piano and the kitchen sink. No really.
"The Band" actually resides in my Apple computers, an iMac and MacBook pro. I play all the instruments except drums and they are programed by me in FXpansion's BFD drum software, fills are done on an Alesis ControlPad.

Story behind the song
The music and lyrics came from the mid 80's when I played in an "originals" band. I always liked the tune so I re-did the song with the intent of making it a Christian song. As I though about the lyrics I realized that they described my condition without God, I am nothing but the very dregs of this world. So after the third verse I tagged the song with a chorus - Lord carry us home - a plea if you will for the Lord to return soon.
