Story behind the song
One year after "Beige and Brown" took place, this song was inspired by a melody that I came up with during the summer that this song is about (the melody takes place after the instrumental build). This was one of those summers where I constantly felt like I was being crushed between my past and my future, and this melody helped me see a light at the end of the tunnel.
