Sum of One is a hard-driving rock band whose mission is to bring glory and honor to their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is their desire and prayer that the ministry of Sum Of One will encourage you in your walk with the Lord and they hope you will be inspired to share the good news of His love with others so that they, too, might come to know Him. Sum of One's lyrics don't pull any punches and are sure to minister to Christians and non-Christians alike. As of 2004, they have 3 independant releases to date, and are constantly writing and rewriting new material. Their latest release, "I Will Go" was recorded, engineered and produced by Don Zabitka in late 2003/early 2004. It featrues eleven origonal songs of hope and praise for the alternative rock crowd.

Story behind the song
Lyrically it is motivated by lead singer Ray's new baby boy. Musically, it's a nod to bass player John's favorite band, In Clover.
Lyrics
A little boy on the front porch step Has been waiting since noon Mama says boy...don't worry none He'll be here soon With a ball and a glove in hand And a bat by his side Up the driveway, a car pulls in And then a smile I will never leave you I'll be right by your side I will never... forsake you You're all mine, mine You're all mine A little girl With a boat she made Watches it sail away She sits and waits Till the tide roles in And it's in her arms again The joys we had The tears we cried Some things We'd rather leave behind Some moments come Then quickly gone Last for a while but not for long But there is one who knows And by his loving care He shows, That's my Father's love.........
