Story behind the song
I lost a lot of homies when I was comin up. Between cancer, murder, drugs and prison I lost a lotta folks. I think about them all the time and one day I was mourning and just started writing. The original version of this song is just one continuous verse, but I structured it when i recorded it. I broke it up into 3 verses when really it's one long verse.
