Story behind the song
Well, I have a lot of memories pertaining to this song. Last summer, I just sat down outside with a guitar and this poured forth.. I had not written an entire song in months, then all the sudden it seemed as though everything that was building up in my mind was unleashed into one song. I finally recorded, and it's pretty much exactly as I envisioned it. A few obstacles slowed me down during the recording process, though. For example, I was originally going to use hand drums, but then I decided I wanted a drum set... so I had to record it LAST. It is an odd thing to do, since I usually record drums first. All in all, it was really damn fun to record.. especially the slide parts.
