Story behind the song
Song about our mutual friend's first car, a 1981 Granada (of Death). It was an unbelievably tough car. The sheet metal used for the body was like something you would find on an old 1950's car. You could literally walk over the entire car without doing a lick of damage. It was an automatic, but he shifted it like a manual, which was testament to the tremendous abilities of that tranny. It held up quite strong to numerous neutral drops, hard shifts, etc. Damn fine car.
