THAT'S THE ONE FOR ME

I finally found the track of this recording after losing the 45. The Sundowners, in 1962, won the equivalent of Singapore Idol...they recorded this with Capitol/EMI as their B-side.

Songwriter of pop, country, inspirational songs. I like to write. I travel a lot to Asia...so my music may have an Asian influence.

Lyrics
That's The One For Me Copyright Stan Loh, 1963 Recorded by Singapore group, The Sundowners in 1963 on Capitol EMI label. Was top tune of the week for 2 weeks in Malaysia. I'll climb the highest mountain, Swim the deepest seas, Trek the driest deserts, And run the long, long leagues. I'll do the utmost things, to find the one for me, That's the one for me. From Greenland's icy lands, to the plains of Argentine, From the islands of Japan, to New York's wonderful scenes, I'll search the world high and low, for the one who loves me so, That's the one for me! She need not be rich, need not own a car, But she must be good and lovely, with eyes full of stars, She must set me starry eyed and light my soul on fire, That's the one for me!
