One of my brothers was a drummer who played in several rock and roll bands while I was growing up, so I got an early start with my music education. This experience gave me a personal desire to learn how to play the guitar and write songs.

Story behind the song
Several years ago, a friend of mine was diagnosed with Lou Gehrigs Disease. Trapped inside her own body and unable to move, she was completley dependent on others for her every need. In spite of all the difficulty and suffering, she remained steadfast in her faith and walk with Jesus. This song was written in loving memory of the inspirational life that she lived. (Mark 4:35-41)
