this song is a mix of both my biggest influences, african and flamenco rythms and is also a tribute to (stanley clarke and jaco pastorius).
bob benson bass flamenco
bass oriented melody and major world rhytmes
Bob Benson has been playing bass for the last 20 years in rock, funk,r'n'b,african, latin, etc. Today his musik is a mix of all that, his main influences are (stanley clarke, jaco pastorius, Jimi Hendrix and african rythmes).Curently working on flamenco musik with the bass, he seems to be the only flamenco bass player in canada. He also plays flamenco box called (cajon)and all percussions on this track. He is one of lucky people to have studied with manuel soler practicly the iventor of flamenco percussions and member of the great paco de lucia quintet. anyway chek this toun out its worth it .
