Story behind the song
One of my favorite places is Gulf Shores AL. On a visit a few years back my twin sons who were around 5 at the time went for a walk on the beach.It was a great sunsey with a cresent moon coming through the sky.I went on to explain how my Father always said it was Gods fingernail.And to this day..(they're 9yrs old now) they still call it a fingernail moon.All that and the bittersweetness of watching them grow.
