Story behind the song
Jaron Eldon: This is just a short and simple piece to start the album off, to give it an introduction. I think it's probably the most ambient piece on the album, and the voice is really funny. That was proposed by Gavin I believe. Pete Nigel: Yeah, I have no idea where this thing came from. I think Jaron said, "Hey, let's put a little poof together to start the album off." Jaron always thinks like that, the album as one whole entity. I didn't have to much to do with this bit as I'm usually in charge of some form of looping or a beat perhaps. Gavin Stewart: I had the idea for the voice introducing the album at the beginning, I can't remember where I got the bloody idea from though. It's a very weird piece, and obviously the album is about the end of the world, but this gives it a rather funny edge to things. The "precautions" that the guy refers to is the song, "Beware of Danger". "What can possibly cause the end of the world" is "Random Acts of Human Blindness", and of course, the "plan you can make" is "Emergency Exit Plan".
