There’s a town down by the sea
a town so still that no one sees
invisible houses hidden discreetly
each house a shade of transparency
invisible girl, her name I don’t know
tears fall down and melt invisible snow
inside her is nothing, her spirits are low
she is ready to leave with nowhere to go
she packs invisible bags, ties up invisible hair
creeps down some creaking invisible stairs
whispers goodnight to parents that aren’t there
and steps out into the cold and invisible air
